Oxymoron 121 is an original composition by Bill Mann aka Dr Fa, dating back to the late 1980s. This updated arrangement is a purely electronic version. It might be described as electronic funk.

The score writing, subsequent mixing and production was done using PreSonus software, namely Notion & Studio One. As far as some of the instrument sounds are concerned - there are “Samples included in this recording from the Vienna Symphonic Library”.

It might be of interest to musicians to note that the melody notes as well as the chord notes were derived from a non-diatonic scale, namely the 'half-whole diminished' scale, which proceeds semitone-tone-semitone etc, hence the 121 in the title.
